Create a custom shirt the way you want it using the Design Your Shirt application. There are three different ways to customize your shirt:
1. Preferred Styles. Choose from pre-designed custom shirts in your favorite styles.
2. Design Your Shirt. Take full control over the design process with this option.
3. Previously Saved Styles. Order from styles you have previously customized, so you don’t need to recreate your style more than once.
Preferred Styles:
Click the “continue” button for Preferred Styles to go to the Preferred Styles Designer. You can select Dress Shirts or Sport Shirts by selecting the tabs on the left of the page, or by clicking the “Next/Previous” button at the top right of the page. Select one of the featured styles (like “American Button Down”) to display the front or back of the shirt in the showcase on the right side of the page. Once you find the Preferred Style you like, simply click on the “Select Fabric” button.
Design Your Shirt:
Choose your fabric by clicking the “select” button on the fabric option of your choice. You can filter the fabric choices by label, color, pattern, and texture. After selecting your fabric, click the “Design Your Shirt” button.
You have several options to customize the collar, cuffs, placket, pocket, yoke, bottom, buttons, and pleats for your custom shirt. You can do this by selecting the tabs on the left of the page and making a choice in each category. Once you are finished, click the “Finalize Design” button.
Finalize your design by selecting a fit option and monogramming. You have the choice of saving or emailing your design. If you have not yet logged in at this point, click the “Confirm Measurements” button at the bottom left of the page to log in to retrieve your personal measurements.
Previously Saved Styles:
Simply click on the “continue” button to retrieve your previously saved designs.
Navigation
Shop the J. Hilburn store by clicking on the “Shop Online” link on the homepage or from the list of products in the left navigation bar.
Select the product or category that interests you. Add items to your shopping bag by clicking on the “Shopping Bag” button.
My Account
Create an account with our store so you can add products to your wish list, save the items you have purchased, track and use referral credits, and view and track your orders. You can also save multiple shipping addresses and move through the checkout process faster.
Creating an account is fast and easy. Click on any of the “My Account” links located throughout the store and provide the requested information.

Shopping Bag
Your Shopping Bag saves the product selections you make in an active shopping session. Add items to your shopping bag until you are ready to start the checkout process and make a purchase. Finalize your order and make your payment during the checkout process.
Ordering
You can place online orders for ready-to-wear products (like sweaters, polos, and accessories) as well as semi-custom products (like trousers). If you order a custom shirt, your initial order will be placed by your personal Style Advisor.
If you order more than one custom shirt, you will receive just one shirt at first to ensure that the comfort and fit are just right. With your approval, the remaining shirts will be made for you and shipped when they are ready.
You can reorder products by logging into your account at JHilburn.com and selecting the items that you would like to order again. If you have previously purchased a custom shirt through one of our Personal Style Advisors, you can use the Custom Apparel Builder to design and purchase your items.
Other products can be purchased directly through J. Hilburn.com and normal shipping times and charges will apply.
